Writing articles for article marketing

As the very name suggests, article marketing relies on articles for business promotion. You have to create this web content according to some quality standards and then distribute it. You can start by writing your materials, you can hire someone for the job or you can use Private Label Rights articles. Article marketing revolves around keywords first and foremost, and these keywords define writing.

Find the keywords that best define your product, service or domain. Use web tools to search for the highest in demand keywords. Single words or long tail phrases, these are the two types of keywords that you can use.

Each article should elaborate on a single keyword alone so that the content is straight to the point. Article marketing thus simplifies the indexation of web content. Search engines won't be able to index the content correctly if you use keyword variations in a single article. The topic of the article as it is given by the keyword has to be clear not only to Google but to web surfers too.

Article length is important for article marketing purposes. An article should be between 350 and 600 words to receive approval in article directories. Do not overlook this aspect when writing content. The article has to be long enough to provide sufficient information, but not too long so as not to bore the reader.

The keyword density also requires special mention. For the article length we've discussed before, 2-4% keyword density is more than enough. You risk to be accused of search engine spamming if you create a higher keyword density in your article marketing strategies.

Other elements to be careful with are the title, the body article and the author box. Stir the reader's curiosity with an appealing title. The information has to be easy to read, which is why several paragraphs are recommended for the interior structure. The inclusion of links in the content makes another noteworthy issue.

If the reader goes through the entire material, he/she is likely to click on one of your links and be redirected to your home page. It is starting from this URLs or anchor text links that backlinks are generated. The efficiency of article marketing improves with the number of backlinks. The popularity of a page is thus measured in the number of links referring back to it, which counts for the page rank given by  search engines.
